Category Claim Map
See every claim AI assistants make about your category, you and your competitors, where each claim most likely came from, and which three claims to work on first.
What you get
The deliverables
Claim inventory
Every claim the AI engines make about your category, about you and about 3 to 5 competitors you choose, grouped so that paraphrases of the same idea count as one claim.
Likely sources
For each claim, the pages most likely behind it: Reddit threads, LinkedIn posts, review sites, lists, publications and your own site. Each attribution carries a confidence level.
Buying criteria and owners
The criteria AI answers tell buyers to weigh, such as cost at your size or speed of setup, and which vendor's framing each criterion follows.
Fragility
How many sources hold each claim up, how old they are and how much the claim varies between runs. Fragile claims are the cheapest to move.
Three target claims
One claim to defend, one to shift and one to establish, written by a strategist with the evidence each one needs.
A 90-day plan
The sources, pages, thread briefs and placements to work on first, in order, with who on your team does what.
How it's built
100 questions, 5 engines, 3 runs each
AI answers change from run to run, so a single screenshot tells you little. Running each question several times on each engine shows which claims are stable and which ones move.
- 01
Write the question panel
We draft 100 buyer questions with you: category questions, comparisons, alternatives, pricing, fit for a team size or industry. The panel is fixed so later reports compare like with like.
- 02
Run the engines
Each question runs 3 times on each of 5 engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude. Every answer and cited source is recorded.
- 03
Extract and cluster claims
We pull each claim out of every answer and cluster claims that say the same thing in different words, then count how often each cluster appears by engine and vendor.
- 04
Attribute likely sources
We match each claim to the cited and uncited pages most likely behind it and report every attribution with a confidence level, because engines do not always show where a claim came from.
- 05
Choose the target claims
A strategist reads the map against your positioning and writes the three target claims and the 90-day plan.

What the report shows
Fictional example. Tallyfold, Brexa and Ledgerly are made-up expense software companies used to illustrate the report format.
Claim inventory (excerpt)

| Ledgerly is the fastest to set up | Ledgerly | Two Reddit threads from last year; Ledgerly's own setup page | Medium | High: few, aging sources |
| Tallyfold is secure | Tallyfold | Tallyfold's security page; one review site profile | High | Medium: the SOC 2 detail is often dropped |

Defend
Tallyfold's policy controls hold up from 10 to 1,000 employees.
Shift
Setup speed: move the criterion from minutes to first card to days to a clean month-end close.
Establish
Tallyfold customers close month-end in days instead of a week, because card transactions reconcile as they happen.
The four metrics
Your baseline for every later report
The Claim Map sets the starting value for the four numbers every monthly report tracks.
Claim survival
When AI summarizes us, what's left?
Each of your claims is scored kept exact, paraphrased, distorted or dropped in the AI's answer, then combined into a score out of 100.
Claim adoption
Is AI repeating our framing?
The share of answers to your buyer questions that state a target claim in substance, by engine, on a four-week rolling average.
Criteria ownership
Who decides how buyers judge the category?
Of the buying criteria AI answers name, the share that match your framing versus each competitor's.
Fragility
Which claims can we move?
How few sources hold a claim up, how old they are and how much it varies between runs. Fragile claims are the cheapest to change.
After the map
What happens next
You keep the map and the 90-day plan whatever you decide next. If you want us to run the campaigns, the full $7,500 is credited against Claim Campaigns ($6,000/mo) or Category Program (From $13,500/mo) when you sign within 30 days of delivery.
If you want to keep watching the claims without a campaign, Claim Watch ($1,500/mo) runs 50 buyer questions every week on ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Perplexity, Gemini, alerts you when a new claim starts forming and sends a monthly action list your team carries out.
Claim Map FAQ
What does the Category Claim Map cost and how long does it take?
$7,500 one-time, delivered in 5 business days after we agree on the question panel and competitor set.
How is it different from the free Compression Test?
The Compression Test simulates one AI answer from copy you paste in. The Claim Map runs 100 buyer questions across 5 live AI engines, 3 times each, and covers your competitors and the sources behind each claim.
Is the fee credited if we continue?
Yes. The full $7,500 is credited against Claim Campaigns or Category Program if you sign within 30 days of delivery.
How do you know which sources are behind a claim?
Some engines cite sources and some do not. We combine cited sources with pages that state the same claim in similar language and report each attribution with a confidence level. It is an informed estimate, labeled as one.
What do you need from us?
A kickoff call to agree on the buyer questions and the 3 to 5 competitors, your current positioning and any claims you already make publicly. The rest of the work is ours.
Do you guarantee AI will adopt our target claims?
No. No one controls what AI engines say. The map tells you where claims come from and which ones are cheapest to move, and the monthly packages measure whether your framing spreads.
